Over the past few days, I have had difficulties accessing this website. When trying, the typical result was a blank screen. Is this just a problem on my side?

Maybe your laptop is an etch-a-sketch . It looks like admin has just switched to log in mode.

Due to my real world profession I have a few very very very very busy days ahead of me and won't have time to respond to the volume of complaints that the anonymous postings generate.

Teacher? A logical answer but try again. I wouldn't have the patience and would end up drop-kicking someone. You would then be watching me on News 12 every night.

It seems that some individuals are still having problems accessing this website. When doing so, the main, center part of the screen is blank. If there is a reason for some, but not others, to encounter this problem, please let me know. I will move on, without further questions asked.

The individuals you are referring to should have a memory of everything that they posted. If it wasn't them, then it was their kids.
If things are posted continuously that are considered totally improper, obscene, racist, or if someone just generates too many complaining emails that we have to answer, the IP is banned by one of the moderators.

Unless pursued legally, there is never a name attached to an IP so its never something personal against anyone. Its the only way to keep people away who want to go overboard.

Criticism against posts is welcome, especially after posters try to tout their u10 player/team as the next ARod/Yankees, but some guys get way too out of hand. Bashing will never get anyone banned. All stories have 2 sides. Readers can usually decipher the truth.

Its done the same way on the soccer board, http://www.backofthenet.com They actually approve all posts before they appear and still have to ban some IP addresses after the fact.

Anonymous vs using a username doesn't matter, since anyone can make up a fake email address and make a username, even a 5th grader. The IP is the only window to the outside world, from in here.

The board is here to exchange information. 99 percent of the users have a good purpose in mind. The goal of most users is to to take the game to the next level, wherever that may be, for each kid.

There were way too many requests from every team/organization to have themselves listed. It was impossible to accomodate everyone. Some guys wanted to be up top and had issues with being placed below other guys. Mind you, its all FREE.
Now its what we choose to put there. No teams or organizations.
