Top 5 Best Softball 12u Teams #1.) LAC Force #2.) Team Long Island 99 #3.) Long Island Waves #4.) Team Long Island 98 #5.) Long Island Chargers This is based on many games and tournaments watched and played. Summary: -LAC Force: has dominant pitching (fast speed) and great defense -Team Long Island 99: good pitching and good defense. -Long Island Waves:good pitching and good defense and great offensive team (have one great pitcher who knows where to place the ball on the plate when pitching) -Team Long Island 98: have a really good pitcher, good defense! -Long Island Chargers: 2 good pitchers some pitchers aren't as fast, but good defensive, heads up team! All this teams are very good! Great job keep up the good work

Top 10 12U teams? If you ask 10 different people you will get 10 different answers. No one knows. How could they? Teams play on different levels, different tournaments and face different talents. We all know that the better teams with good winning reputations attract better players and have better talents to choose from. Other teams are just lucky to get 3 or 4 core players. Unfortunately that is the nature of the game. Any coach can manage a great team with great pitching but it takes a good coach to coach a decent team and see them succeed. All the teams have their strong and weak points. There is no such thing as a perfect Travel team. No team is unbeatable. Some teams have great pitching to carry a team. Some have good hitters or fielder and the lucky ones have all. To argue who is the Top 10 is waste of time. What I don't get here is that other people want to bring other organizations down without fully understanding how the organization as a whole operates. My daughter's played on travel teams that were nightmares but I had a choice to move forward. We all live an learn. One thing I wont do is go on a public forum and bring other organizations down because parents and players should be able to join an organization without having other people make judgements for them. We should all be proud of our daughter's teams cause they worked hard to make them and travel ball gives them the platform to build their skills to play HS and beyond. Everyone should feel that their kids travel team is ranked #1. It only means the coaches are doing a great job teaching their players and preparing them for their tournaments. My daughter faces some of the best and brightest talents on Long Island and without those players, my daughter would not be challenged. Because of your talented daughters, my daughter is a better player today. TLI, LAC, SUDDEN IMPACT, CRUSH, RIPTIDES, SHARKS, THUNDER, BANDITS, WAVES, CHARGERS are all long island teams we can all be proud of. (if I missed any other LI teams it was not intended) Good luck to all teams this coming 2012 season. Hope to see you all on the field.

OMG you are all acting as if 12U ball will decide the future of these girls. Your daughters would all be ashamed at how you are all behaving on this site. You all need to calm down and realize there are good and bad players no matter where you go. Yes, HV Hurricanes are a great team. Yes, Team LI 99 are a great team. Yes, LI Crush has done well so far. What will all that matter next year? Can't you all just enjoy the games and the competition and keep your egos in check? It is, by the way, all about the girls, right? May you all have a great season and may all your girls be superstars, as they should be. I commend teams like the LI Greyhounds, who keep losing but keep coming back. Playing against such great teams will only in the end make them better players. Good luck to all the teams, in NY, NJ, PA and elsewhere. Now...play ball (and play nice!)
