I guess Maork cries when his name gets bashed. So its censored. kinda hurts the recruiting process. Don't cheat and your name won't get dragged thru the mud.

This team has played my son friend team a few times and I have seen them, they are a very good team. Saying you would kill teams is ignorant, what has kept you in the games is your pitching you have two hard throwers and at this age thats all it takes to win games. Just a FYI to all you super 9/10 teams it will change as you get older but at least you can always go back to your son's grand 10 yr old days.....

I have heard alot of good things about CP Stars, Bonnies, Bayside, and several other teams. i saw the 10U Bulldogs this past weekend and if the CP Stars are playing close to them thats quite an accomplishment. Also, no one should overlook the Elmjack club and put them down for no reason, if Im not mistaken they are fine group and won a few tourneys out in Suffolk to boot. To judge a team before you've seen them is foolish,

We'll be there?

Your kid is 9 years old. Teach him division or how to use a toaster.

You guys are what ruins the sport here when they get older, then the kids feel the pressure and its the same cycle.

I run one of the 9U team listed above and have ran many other teams before this one. CP stars are always excellent. Sure I would love to see them out playing some of these teams including mine, but be careful of what you wish for, CP stars will be tough to beat.

CP , list an e-mail or website I can contact you , maybe we can scrimmage in the spring. In the past with some of your other teams we have made a day out of it (by the way I grow up in College Point so I am a bit partial)

Saying we would kill a team is ignorant. We wouldn't say that. I can't stop others from saying stuff though. All I said is we can compete with the best. We are a team built around pitching and defense which does keep us in games. I said we would like to play all these teams as I believe good competition can only help the kids. I don't believe for a minute we can kill Baymen or Conyo. I expect great games, very close in score. As for the super 9s not being so super later. Well I bet it can go both ways. Our older teams have done well throughout there years. I think having alot of talent now can't hurt you later. It's not something we worry about. We'll worry about that when we get there.

My son is 9 and knows his division already. Most of his report cards are all 4s. which is an A. And yes he also plays travel baseball while sprinkling in cyo basketball. Anything else he should learn before he can play baseball?
