My son was recently recruited to play for one of the 3 15u Storm teams in 2012. I don't know very much about the Storm except for the fact, both 14u 2011 teams won boys of summer. What are your thoughts?

Stay away ! This organization, like many others, is all about the money. They will claim to have your son's interests at heart, but it is the almighty dollar that takes precedence. They have a handful of decent teams, but for the most part all the other teams are slapped together, given poor coaches and left to fend for themselves.

This is coming from a father who's 16U son played all the time, performed well and no personal gripes. My issues were with the piss poor planning of the organization, the small number of tournaments, many of which were sub-standard at best.

I would estimate that half of my son's team last year should have been playing another sport instead of baseball. How could an organization have one powerhouse 16U team, which is acutally a hand-picked group of boys outside of the Storm facility (just wearing Storm uniforms), while the other two teams were both fiar at best? The anser is simple... $$$$$$$

Its another Sarra team, he runs boys of summer as well. They way he plays ball is he has his basic team, then when its time for tournaments or playoff he brings in the best players from all his team to play as a team. So if your son isnt top of the game he will sit on the bench while the ringer are brought in to play. It makes his organization look good like you just said don't know much about them but they "Won"...

To the poster who said "How could an organization have one powerhouse 16U team, which is acutally a hand-picked group of boys outside of the Storm facility (just wearing Storm uniforms) while the other two teams were both fiar at best" you are WRONG. All but one player on the "powerhouse 16u team" had played a minimum of one full season with the Storm before last summer. Please state facts when you take the time to post.

Amen saw it over the summer they needed to bring in ringers to beat the 13u prospects in the 14u playoffs
