Trinty is the favorite, two big time starteers and a very soild middle of the order.

As far as overall depth Chaminade is the deepest talent wise as an overall program, They have 4 or 5 juniors who will be high level D 1 prospects , Their JV team is loaded, as good if not better than their 11' calss that sent 13 players to college 7 division 1 and have an extremely deep freshmen calss.

Anthony's will also be very good this year, and also dsiplays a lot of depth through out the program.

A parent once said to me St. Anthony's offered him somthing for his son (baseball) is he good enough yes but his son still goes to public hs....I would be supprised if a school like Chaminade would offer as they are not so easy to get into

Not surprised- seems like sports 1st and grades second there[ St. Anth.]-I doubt Chaminade would do it-I understand in near future Chaminade might have majority of their tuition paid for from alumni-very nice!!!

Hearing rumors that this will be Trinity Varsity Coach last year.
Freshman coach will take his place in 2013. Any truth to this or just rumor? Anyone in the know - please respond.

Scholarship for baseball?

On the record?

Give me a break. Who? They go to 8th grade summer league games?

People say this to make themselves feel better.

COLLEGES barely give scholarships for baseball.

I would hope my son received a 6K scholarship (not baseball) from St. Marys and he's going attend Chaminade....Thats what he truly wants and my wife has spoken than thats the way its going to be. Between us I have lost sleep on many nights.....

It is absolute fact that many of the Catholic schools give scholorships to athletes. They may call it by a different name such as a "discount on tuition."

As far as Colleges barely give scholorships for baseball, you are badly mis-informed. There are many colleges out there dieing to give out scholorships but can't find the talent. Do your research, attend a few showcases and you will see that D-2 schools are giving money to kids that only started as seniors in high school and are descent ball players at best.
