Chiefs were an average team in 2011 and will be below average in 2012. That's why they went back to NJBL because they will not be able to compete with the stronger teams. As far as who they gained, I doubt it very much that they will be able to replace the 4 best kids that left them. And what a joke it was to continously nominate the coaches sons in the NJBL allstar voting when they didn't deserve it. Daddy ball will not get the chiefs far as you can see. Good luck this year conyo. You won't be able to hide all year long. We will find you You are a very funny guy. Lets go in order: The 2011 Chiefs were far from an average team & were probably one of the best "town teams" on LI, which competed on a very high level with all of the SELECT teams as well. We only had a losing record against 2 SELECT LI teams. For the record, we are playing NJBL again because I can save $500/each season(spring, summer & fall) by playing there. We have a field that we can practice or play on any day of the week, so I do not need fields @BBH. Dont get me wrong, we enjoyed playing there @10U to learn leading/stealing/balks for the kids. We will be playing at least 2 tourneys there this year too. As for the kids, I will not come on here to disparage the players & parents who left the team. It was their choice. Likewise, anonymous bloggers should not come here to disparage their replacements. Only time will tell how the 2012 Chiefs will play. Every young mans skills will improve at their own pace, depending on how hard they work and their body develops. As for NJBL votes, how would you know who deserved them? Were you at the games? Do you have the stat book in front of you? Why would you take that personally & start with daddyball comments? So you know, we are not hiding from anyone! Im easy to find too. My email and phone # are on the CONYO website. Unless you already have it. We always welcome friendly competition. Call me to discuss this post & schedule a scrimmage, although then you cant remain anonymous! Lets see if you have the guts to pickup the phone or email me. Now, lets get on the subject of you: Why would YOU come on here anonymously to knock a team that you have nothing to do with? Could it be your deep seeded feelings of inadequacy OR is it your insecurity because your mommy didnt give you enough attention and you happen to be stuck in the adolescent phases of your Oedipal complex. Either way you should just GROW UP! Ive already wasted too much of my time responding to this BS. To ALL Others: Best of luck to you and your teams in the 2012 season. Steve U-Conyo Chiefs

Steve U-Conyo Chiefs Its travel baseball so please don't cry about being just a town team. Play little league then. The Mudcats and BBH team(formerly Belport) are travel teams, that simple. They have try outs and field a team, if you think you can't compete don't play them or compare with them. I'm sure if a great player came to you from next town over you would let him play. Please don't keep throwing the Select thing out there its sad and weak. So have you played and beat the Bulldogs? Or played the Bonnies and CP Stars? I have no affiliation with any of those teams, as a matter of fact I don't like them but I respect the talent that is on their teams.

It was merely a statement regarding all the boys being from one town. No crying involved really. The only thing here that is sad & weak is you posting anonymously. So who might you be? I think our guys played & competed respectably against the Mudcats & Bellport & Falcons last year. Only played the Bulldogs once last year. Saw the CP Stars play a little & maybe a few innings of the Bonnies. And yes, they are all what I would say are great 11U teams. Who said I didnt think we could compete?? I will always aspire to maximize their potential. They are 11 and if they can perform the fundamentals well and execute plays then thats all that I can ask for. High effort & consistent development. Not going to win every game.
