Suffolk County website has Bayport Bluepoint ahead of Babylon in the preseason poles. Can this be remotely accurate? Didn't Bablylon bring back most of their pitching from last year?

This should be very interesting this spring.

There has been no preseason polls released for Suffolk County Baseball, the only polls on that website are for anonymous users to vote as many times as they want each time they go onto the website. From the looks of what I saw students from Bayport and Mt Sinai go on the site a lot so they voted for their teams. A lot of team dont even know about the site, so nobody has been on there to vote.

Facts are Mt Sinai and Babylon will both be tough this year and John Glenn will also be a strong team as they return many players from last years team. Bayport will probably be in the mix but I dont think they are one of the top two.

I stand corrected. It is just a place to vote and anyone can vote.

Your predictions make alot more sense but I have to add a few.

Babylon has to be tough with all of that pitching.

Patchogue will be good in the higher divisions. Stroman can crank it to 89.

Islip has its 3 starters all returning. This will be nice to watch.

I say it will be a rematch between Harborfields and Islip. Both schools have it easy in the regular season, it should be a great be year.

A rematch of what the semifinals? Islip played Harborfields in the semis last year and beat Rocky Point in the finals. Neither team is going to have it easy, Islip should have a better time in the regular season than last year, but they were 11 and 7 if you remember. HArborfields is not going to be as good as they were last year, they lost a lot of very good players, but they will be a strong team. With the new double elimination playoffs for the top 4 teams, the playoffs are going to be wild this year!!

babylon will be very strong in pitching with rivas, cosby, and swietzer. But i am a little concerned with their batting because they lost a lot of great hitters. But their pitching will be great.

Watch out for RIVERHEAD this year. If they get all their ducks in a row, they are solid in pitching and have a strong hitting team. This goes with they have 6 solid sophmores that can play with the best.
