Last Seasons 9U Junior Ducks have defiantly improved.
They are a very well coached team.(George Loft is a well known coach on long Island-just ask around).
I watched part of 2 of their games in the 9U Ed Rall Tourney while my sons team was waiting for his next games. I remember their 3rd baseman making some unbelievable plays, had great pitching and their center fielder making 2 running diving catches. I believe they won the 9U trophy.
Not sure if the Ducks bashers here are talking about the same 9U Ducks team?
I watched my nephew's team beat them in the spring, but one of their parents told me they have improved considerably since then.
Who knows-everyone has their opinions.
They looked good to me, but what do I know-I’m only a mom.

Since it is a new 10u Team we plan on a 44game schedule that includes 12 spring, 16 summer, 12 fall with a minimum of one local tournament with a 4 game guarrantee locally. There is so much opportunity to play good quality ball on the Island I am not looking to spend peoples money foolishly at this age. I plan to build this team and submit a bid for Cooperstown for 2012 this coming Sept.

You would have to call The Mariners at 631-218-8200 to inquire about their 12u--18u prgrams. I am the Head Coach for the new 10u . I bring a very fair across the board attitude where all the players are treated equally. Line-ups will be rotated as well as pitching rotation. I have been coaching 10 years and this by far is the best philosophy I can bring for the development of the players.

The Bellport Braves have one spot open for the right 10U player. If you are interested in playing with a strong, competitive, and well coached team contact us for a private tryout. We will be playing spring and summer seasons at Baseball Heaven as well as 5 tournaments 2 of which will be out of state (PA & DE).
