Please tell me and everyone else on this thread that you are not one of the coaches of your son's team? Also, again please, your son's age group?

Why is it so hard to believe that a father can't help his son in the art of hitting? The problem with my sons is that they aren't receptive to their father (me). A third person could give them the same word-for-word advice as I would and they would listen intently. If the topic were "pitching," I would advise going to a qualified professional.

No iam just a dad on the sideline, who puts quality time into his kids, and just doesn't shell out dollars to make him happy. Look at the whole picture ask your son what he wants - not what you want,, spend time with him one on one and you will get the results.. But you have to be nice, have patients, and praise him positively all the time.... Good luck..

That's great until your kid get to HS and the coach asks what travel team you play for and who your hitting and pitching instructor is?
Uh, my dad.
Oh, see you next year.
It happens!
Sometimes you have to pay up to keep up.

Ranking the facilities

Best Pitching instructors All Pro
Best Hitting Instructors Play like a pro

Top 3 facilities for practice:
Play Like a Pro
Prospect Sports
All Pro

CIS if you are looking for a big fielding area once in a while the place is okay other than that the lighting is poor and the place is filthy

Performance Factory Joe is good but has no other good instructors. Place is a dungeon though very dirty and poor lighting

CGI They say steinert is good. Place is nice but very small. Way overpriced for instruction

As far as pricing goes every place is withing $5 of each other per lesson other than CGI. Same goes for pricing on team packages and cages. they are all comparable.

In my opinion Prospect and Play like a pro did it right. Play Like a pro upgrades something every yr, I have to say the guy puts the money back into the business. Prospect is fairly new so doesn't need to update anything yet.

Again just an opinion and I have been to them all.

Where do we go from here, the "Coke, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, Seven-Up taste test competition? If each bottle were overpriced at $5/each, would it matter?
